some times simple pieces of jewelry are full of poetry, and this is one of those pieces. a very vintage yellow gold patterned eternity band, but the pattern is fading significantly. we all have fading patterns that we're carrying with us, don't we?

it's super skinny pipe cut style, likely from being separated from rings it was soldered with previously. rings like this are such great visual intrigue in a stack and they're narrow enough that it leaves plenty of real estate for other rings in the stack.

structurally, this ring is sound, and it does have some time-earned wear:
-significant softening to the stamped pattern around the band
-a file mark on the inner edge from a very very thorough acid testing
-flat sides resulting in a pipe cut style, which may not have been original to the band
